Are you pleasing God or yourself? Is your heart seeking reconciliation or alienation?
Are you pleasing God or yourself? Is your heart seeking reconciliation or alienation?
We are at peace with God because of "Reconciliation", we are not enemies of God, thus we need not fear His wrath and punishment. Since we are at peace, we are no longer at war with God if we are believers; the world is still at war (2 Cor.5:18-21; Eph.2:16; Col. 1:20-22).
Reconciliation, the Eternal gospel of Revelation 14:7 refers to the "good news" of Christ and a summons to clearly repent: fear God and give him glory…Worship him. Fear God (Prov. 3:5; Luke 1:50; 12:5; Acts 10:35; 14:15), give Him Glory (Matt. 5:16; 9:8; 15:31), judgment is coming (John 12:23-32; 16:8-11), and worship Him (Acts 14:15; 17:24-31) are the basic applications of the Gospel, which is the work of Christ on our behalf, the Good News of reconciliation to God for those who are sinners (Hab. 2:4; Rom.10 1; John 17:17; Cor.15:1-4).
Bitterness, envy, and selfish ambitions may be the adoring motivators for many people in the world; but for the Christian, these are to be abhorrent! These rotten characters are the root of bad wisdom; they seek power and prestige for themselves and forsake God and His Truth. They cause broken relationships and dysfunctional homes and churches (Prov. 11:18; Rom. 12:9; 1 Cor. 2:6-15).
Understanding His grace, "what He did for me," will help empower us to be honest with wisdom, seek His percepts and not that which is false. The grace we receive if it has taken root within us will display humbleness; as we are exalted in Christ, we have no need to have inflated egos. Our significance is in Him, thus we are upgraded in Him beyond any human hopes or dreams (Deut 4:6; 1 Kings 3:9; Psalm 119:97-98; Matthew 6:33; Romans 12:3; 1 Timothy 1:18-20).

Up until the Fall, humanity drew their support and substance directly from God, in perfect relation, and when they fell it was all gone.

First of all this is not an essential issue, as "Eschatology," meaning End Times Theology, is debatable and has no real bearing on orthodoxy versus unorthodoxy, unless it is distracting you from the person and work of Christ. Nor is this even an important issue, as God is far more concerned with our...

Christ's atonement literally is by His shed blood, covers our sin so that God does not see it nor is affected by it, so He can forgive, give us grace, and bring us into the kingdom...
